The global launch of the Digest took place on 25 October 2011 at the United Nations in New York. We would welcome your support in promoting and distributing the report to your networks. You may also wish to post an announcement on your website with a link to the UIS site (http://www.uis.unesco.org), where readers can find the complete report in English, in addition to regional profiles for the Arab States, Latin America and the Caribbean, South and West Asia, and sub-Saharan Africa. Arabic, French and Spanish versions will become available shortly. If you are interested in organizing a regional event, UIS statisticians are available to make presentations on the findings.
